I grew up in Hickory, NC. I received my to undergraduate degree from Queens University of Charlotte. I am currently working on attaining my Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina Charlotte. I am currently living and working in the Charlotte/Cornelius, NC
I began wrestling in Middles School wrestling for Grandview. I wrestled for Hickory High School, and was horrible at it my freshman year. Even though I was terrible at it, I was often complimented for giving people a determined fight. After college, I went to Korea and trained in the traditional Korean art of sword fighting, and in Muay Thai. When I got back to the states I have been training at Crossface in Cornelius. At Crossface, I train in Jujitsu, wrestling, Muay Thai, karate, and general MMA practices.
I consider myself an oddity. I am very creative. I all constantly thinking of new designs. I am also coming up with new business ideas. Admittedly I usually do not follow up on these ideas, because I feel they lack that certain something. I am a huge computer geek. I am always on a laptop or desktop, either working or playing some kind of game. I am one of those strange people that actually enjoy creating code. I could very easily sit in front of a computer and code for hours on end and think that 15 minutes has passed by. I also enjoy football, cars, racing, and of course watching MMA.
I have many goals. Some of them include, being a successful software developer, helping develop intelligent systems for video games, and I want to open up my own Internet Game Cafe.
For fighting, I only have one goal. I will the champion at what I do. The road may be rocky at times but I will make it to work until I am sitting on top. Once I am on top I will work towards getting the title in a second weight class. When I am the title holder, for two separate weight classes, at one time, I will consider my MMA goals accomplished. Until i reach my goals I will continue to work hard, seek out better opponents, and steps towards my goals one at a time.
